Bobby’s Apizza Restaurant was founded in 1969 by Robert Ottoviato. The original restaurant location was in the Great Oak Shopping Center in North Branford. In 1975, it moved to its current location on Route 80.

 

In April of 1980, Bobby’s Apizza was sold to Joseph Cappetta upon Mr. Ottoviato’s retirement. Joseph had an abundance of experience in the pizza business, dating back to his teenage years. It was a perfect opportunity and Bobby’s Apizza quickly became an active participant in the North Branford Community!

 

The restaurant was expanded in 1988, with more ovens added to accommodate the booming business. Bobby’s is known for its outstanding pizza, which has been acclaimed by customers to rival that of Wooster Street. Bobby’s is also known for consistently introducing innovative, gourmet-style pizza. We use only the finest ingredients, including native North Branford grown produce (when in season).

 

Bobby’s Apizza has been a North Branford tradition for over 35 years! Joseph and the Cappetta family, along with loyal employees, still operate Bobby’s Apizza to this day.
